Pastor Pearl Wilkinson

Dear Church Family,

My name is Pastor Pearl Wilkinson, and I am honored to be introduced to such a warm and welcoming community. As we embark on this journey together, I want you to know how excited I am about the new season of change we are entering. I hope you share this excitement as we progress our faith journeys together.

As we transition from one season to another, I am inspired by a giraffe's unique grace and vision. The giraffe’s life offers a profound illustration of how we might live as followers of Christ:  Reaching Upward and Outward With its long neck and ability to reach high, the giraffe reminds us to look beyond the challenges of everyday life to lift our gaze toward God, the source of our strength and guidance. May we, too, aspire to reach upwards in faith and outward in love, touching lives with compassion and grace.

Giraffes have a unique advantage, seeing far and wide across the plains. In the same way, I believe God calls us to look beyond our immediate surroundings to open our hearts to His vision for our church and our community. Together, let us see each other and the world around us with God’s eyes—eyes that see potential, beauty, and possibility.

Though tall and strong, giraffes walk with a gentle step, moving gracefully among all creatures. In our journey together, I pray that we embody this grace, extending kindness and patience to one another and all who enter our doors.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve each of you and am eager to listen, learn, and grow alongside you. Let us cultivate a vibrant community filled with love, support, and spiritual nourishment, embracing this season of renewal together.  Thank you for opening your lives and hearts to me. I am deeply touched by your warm welcome and look forward to the meaningful connections and shared experiences that await us.

With joy and gratitude,

            Pastor Pearl
